As you can see, I am really late on my blog for my summary of this competition. Not that I have not enjoyed this stage of World Cup, but I just decided to take a REAL hollidays. So two weeks without talking or thinking of climbing, perfect for my body and brain!

|A pure pinchy american boulder!!|
So I'm not going to summarize this competition, but rather tell you what I felt, from my performance, and also the points which i have to work in this second half of the season :
As you know, Vail is a colorado resort, 2500m above the sea level. Because of this, I realized that I was really limited (compared to the others athletes) by my overall endurance, and also my volume of climbing, which allows to make several good try in 5mn. I had a good ranking there, because I was able to achieve every boulders in one or two try, but if I had not been successful, it could have been a nightmare.
Second weakness, all the movements catches on undercuts. Indeed, the route-setters have all decided this year to reverse many holds on several boulders, as this reduces the number of feet in the upper part of the boulder. I will work on my static power.
Now is the time to go back in training, quietly this week and the beginning of a true preparation cycle next week ...
Moreover, we can train ourselves peacefully this summer because we had the chance to be together in final in Vail with Melanie Sandoz, synonymous of selection for Bercy!
